Welcome to Manatee Sanctuary. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3). We started our rescue with kitten found in a brown bag and a small tortoise stepping onto 75th Street and have grown to 15 turtles, 2 tortoises, a Newfoundland dog, and Guinnea Pig.  We back up to an acre of undeveloped land and are frequented by screetch owls and bats we provide housing for.  We started the rescue sanctuary last year and look forward to expanding our operation. We have about an acre of land and have been building habitats for the fresh water and land tortoises. We are constantly in need of new habitats, feeding and medical supplies for our critters. Currently we are working on new fencing to pre vent escape…Our small backyard project has grown to require outside funding for supplies. We appreciate your tax-deductible donations.
